Diploma Ceremony of the Académie Nationale de Médecine de France for Prof. Changqing Gao at the PLA General Hospital

On Friday 20 May 2016, the Diploma Ceremony of the Académie Nationale de Médecine de France was held at the PLA General Hospital for Prof. Changqing Gao.

Hospital President Guoquan Ren, Commissar Ansheng Yuan warmly welcomed the visit of Prof. Daniel Loisance from the Académie Nationale de Médecine de France. Prof. Changqing Gao, Director Qilin Yu of the Clinical Surgery Department and the Cardiovascular Surgery Department staff attended the Ceremony.

The Académie Nationale de Médecine de France was created in 1820 by king Louis XVIII, and has been endowed with a remarkable membership enrollment from the top scientists from all over the world including not only the surgeons and physicians, but also the veterinarians, biologists and state men in charge of health. Since its foundation, 11 members of the academy have been honored with the Nobel Prize.

On behalf of the Académie Nationale de Médecine de France, Prof. Daniel Loisance introduced the strict and complex application process the spoke highly of Prof. Gao's academic achievements, and awarded the membership certificate and medal to Prof. Gao with Prof. Gao's name engraved on, which is very unique and of high standard and special meaning.

After the Ceremony, Prof. Loisance visited the museum of the PLA General Hospital. He was deeply impressed by the development of the PLA General Hospital, and looked forward to a further cooperation and exchange with the hospital for a mutual development.
